Java Automation Testing Specialist

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Automation Testing Specialist, located in Bengaluru. As a Java Automation Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing automated test plans, analyzing and reporting discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.

Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java programming and deep understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts

- Experience with automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestCafe and their implementation using java-based libraries like JUnit, TestNG, or other open source tools

- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks Cucumber or any other related frameworks

- Experience in creating and maintaining test scripts, test data and test environment for support of automated testing activities

- Hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting the defects, and working with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to determine root cause and resolution

- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts, experience in testing back-end systems and web services is a plus

- A solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall is highly desirable

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
