About the role

As DevOps engineer, you'll be part of a highly motivated tech team that is responsible for building high-quality public cloud applications by applying agile architecture principles.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead the development of a highly automated CI/CD platform, ranging from development infrastructure tooling to reduce operational tasks to automated testing capabilities to reliable release and deployment strategiesEnd-to-end engagement, from inception to production, in designing, deploying, operating and continuously improving high-availability services in the cloudDeliver high-quality solutions and deployment strategies, focusing on reliability, automation, maintainability and security in order to improve performance and fault-tolerance of new or existing servicesDrive and implement the infrastructure as code mantra within the teamEstablish and implement effective incident resolution and incremental adoption of fault-tolerant, self-healing solutions.Focus on devising automatic metrics and logs collection, self-healing capabilities and other technical solutions to improve security and resilience of the infrastructure and avoiding incidents and problems from reoccurringFacilitate Agile, DevOps process improvement, challenging existing practices and driving ideas and solutions that promote innovative ways of working

About the team

You will be joining Geospatial solutions team that delivers Map services and Lookup services serving the business with detailed facts and spatial context for decision making. We are the backend for interactive visual mapping tools make the spatial information and analytics easily accessible for the users to make efficient and informed decisions.

Then join us and find an encouraging environment in which we seek to make Geospatial dream come trueYou have a proven experience of 8-10 years with a demonstrated ability in a senior position in-charge of public cloud services(preferably Azure), DevOps and CI/CD3+ years of hands-on experience in delivering highly distributed, high-complexity concurrent systemsUnderstanding of the implications and the trade-offs of different solutions with regards to performance, reliability, availability and securityProven experience with cloud computing platforms (particularly Azure), applications containerization/ orchestration (Docker, AKS), configuration management (Terraform, ARM) and implementing continuous development, delivery, and deployment solutions (Azure DevOps is desired)Strong problem-solving demeanour and collaborative approach to incidents mitigation, triage, and resolutionExperience in software engineering in any modern language (Java, C#) is a plusProficient in EnglishWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
