Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Data Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data within our systems. You will work in a hybrid model, combining remote work with some days in our Gurgaon office.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Quality Assurance: Develop and implement data quality standards, ensure compliance with these standards, and continuously improve data quality processes.
ETL Testing: Design and execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing processes to ensure the data is correctly transformed and loaded into the target systems.
Data Validation: Perform data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Database Management: Utilize SQL for data querying, analysis, and reporting to support data quality initiatives.
Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data quality checks and processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify data quality issues and drive their resolution.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data quality procedures, findings, and resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data quality engineering or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
SQL: Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Python: Strong skills in Python for scripting and automation.
ETL Testing: Hands-on experience with ETL processes and testing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data quality tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with data governance practices.
Knowledge of big data technologies and environments.
