MOD/SSD Platform Integration Engineer

As a Module/SSD Platform Integration Engineer, you will be a global leader residing in the PDE organization enabling the successful manufacturing of Module and SSD products with a focus on vertical integration and success measured in correlation with module/SSD qualification. The Platform Integration Engineer will play a key role in integrating SSD manufacturing processes into our existing operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between DRAM, NAND, Controller, supporting Actives and SSD production lines. This position requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize processes for efficient SSD production.Individual Responsibilities:Collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve any identified issues related to product interface issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integration plans for SSD/Module manufacturing utilizing Technology gate review processes.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of SSD/Module manufacturing, addressing any bottlenecks or challenges in the integration.Work closely with DRAM, NAND, and Controller engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment between different production lines into the SSD/Module Interface.Work closely with site engineering teams to develop and implement quality control measures specific to SSD manufacturing, ensuring adherence to industry standards and minimizing defects.Investigate and resolve any technical issues related to SSD/Module manufacturing, collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.Work with various teams to Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated processes to guarantee the reliability and performance of SSD/Module products.Experience
:Proven experience as a Platform Integration Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry.In-depth knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and industry standards.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address manufacturing and assembly challenges.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex technical documentation and datasheets.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A Successful Candidate will have the following Attributes:Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills and characteristics that drive towards an Ideal Team Player.A high level of self-motivation, self-directed, goal-oriented, and multi-tasking skills.A desire to continuously improve.Willingness to perform on-call support as necessary.Willingness to travel as necessary (domestic and international).SkillsMust be proficient in English, both verbally and written.Demonstrated leadership abilities and rapport with others.Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proven skills in the ability to train others.Superb attention to detail and the ability to react quickly under pressure and constant change.Must have good interpersonal skills with an ability to work under minimum supervision.Excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions from the perspective of manufacturing.Excellent presentation skillsFamiliarity with DOE methodsEducationPosition requires a minimum of a BS in a related Engineering field. Master’s in engineering is preferred.
