Essential Functions:


- Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Kubernetes solutions


- Communicating these solutions in a professional way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders


- Collaborating with other engineers and members of the team using tools like git, in a secure, effective and scalable way


Required Skills/Abilities :


- Experience designing, implementing, supporting and upgrading Kubernetes clusters


- Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes, using tools like Helm, Kustomize, or equivalent


- Highly experienced with Docker & Containers


- Terraform and Shellscript experience


- Top notch Linux skills


- General cloud architecture experience with a major cloud provider AWS and Azure. Etc


- Experience with building Kubernetes Operators, Controllers


- Istio expertise


- General DevOps Experience a plus


- Knowledge of SQL databases and basic coding skills in Java, Python, Go, C++ or a similar language are desirable, as is experience with microservices architectures


- Software Engineering background is nice to have
