We seek a talented and motivated Lighting Designer to join our dynamic team. If you have a knack for design and a passion for learning about the world of lighting, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Industry related experience required:
• 1-3 years
Qualification:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture, or a related field
Skills required:
• AutoCAD
• AGI32
• MS Office Suite
• Good command over spoke, writing and comprehending English
Skills preferred:
• Revit
• Elumtools
• DIALux evo
• Visual
• 3ds Max
Responsibilities:
• Develop lighting design concepts that align with project requirements, sustainability goals, and aesthetic visions.
• Perform lighting calculations and simulations using industry-standard software such as AGi32, DIALux Evo or similar tools.
• Select and specify lighting fixtures, controls, and systems to meet project criteria, energy codes, and client preferences.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into the overall building design.
• Create technical drawings, specifications, and presentation materials to communicate design intent effectively.
• Conduct research on new lighting technologies and trends to incorporate innovative, sustainable solutions into projects.
• Support Title24, LEED, WELL, or other green building certifications by designing energy-efficient and human-centric lighting systems.
• Participate in site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with plans and resolve any onsite issues.
Tenure:
• 6 months’ probation leading to a permanent position based on performance
