The Technical Services Support role helps to manage day-to-day development tasks to ensure high levels of productivity, accuracy, and work priority. Technical Services Support will also have development responsibility.

DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?

·Ensure application changes are completed on time, to a target level of quality.

·Timely and accurate completion of Software Development Lifecycle deliverables in a manner that is auditable, testable, and maintainable.

·Ensure implementation is consistent with solution design and business specifications.

·Perform deliverable reviews and manage measurement of deliverable quality.

·Provide technical SME assistance for a given application.

·Completes technical work with other developers.

·Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.

·May perform Application Developer duties.

·May perform design activities in collaboration with the Technical Architect.

·Assists in removing impediments to progress.

·Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.

You will report to the Manager of Model Support.

Required Skills and Abilities:

·Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems/issues.

·Good communication skills in the context of application development and the development team.

·Thought leader in implementing best practices in software design and delivery.

·Previous experience working with small teams including resources in various locations.

·Significant background in application development.

·Thorough understanding of the process of application testing.

·Experience with service-oriented architecture, web services, and .Net.

·Experience with Cloud operations and migration to Cloud components.

·Experience with concepts in the strategic analytics (“big data”) space is a plus.

·Experience with multiple software delivery models (waterfall, Agile, etc.) is a plus.
