Job Title: SME – Database Administrator (Remote) Experience: 8+ Years Location: Remote Type: Full-Time About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Database SME/DBA with deep expertise in Oracle and MongoDB or MariaDB to manage, optimize, and automate mission-critical, large-scale databases in a distributed, high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities: Administer and optimize Oracle, MongoDB/MariaDB, MySQL, and AWS RDS databases Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, clustering, replication, and DR Automate deployments using Liquibase, Ansible, Terraform Deploy and manage databases in Docker/Kubernetes Monitor and tune performance using Grafana, New Relic, and APM tools Ensure high availability, security, encryption, and compliance Integrate with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elastic Cache Provide documentation and 24x7 support on rotation Requirements: 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Engineer/Administrator Strong in Oracle DBA , MongoDB or MariaDB , and SQL/NoSQL performance tuning Proficient in Linux, Shell/Python scripting , and CI/CD automation Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Nice to Have: Telecom domain experience Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure ) Experience with Elastic Stack or internal automation tools
