Position: Director Finance

Reporting to - Head Finance

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Delhi (Sultanpur)

Work Type: Work from Office

Qualification - Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

8 - 10 years of functional experience having exposure to all domains of the Business Finance function. Experience of having worked in new-age B2C platform company, fundraising and M&As would be desirable.

About the Role:

Work across Finance, Accounting, Planning, Business Strategy, Compliance, Cashflow, Fund Raising and provide strategic advice for taking key decisions regarding functional alignment/support to Business and facilitating growth objectives. Provide insights to take key business decisions, backed by financial analytics.

This is an extremely vital role that would be responsible for tracking and analyzing financial information to ensure that the organization takes decisions that are aligned to its vision.

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting and Control: Have an oversight on the overall accounting function.

Financial Reporting: Guide and drive the Finance team with respect to budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting.

Business Plans: Develop financial plans, in discussions with management. Track and work with various Verticals to achieve agreed plans.

M&A: Lead potential acquisition opportunities to drive inorganic growth.

Compliance and risk: Be responsible for all compliances - Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes, Company Law, and all others.

Funds Management: To have an oversight on the cash flows of the business and plan well to ensure business operations run smoothly.

Systems and Processes: Need to lead and improvise various systems and processes, with a view to strengthening those in line with best practices.

Audits: Work closely with internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.

Team Building: Be a team player, and to continuously work towards developing skills of all the team members with a view to increasing productivity on a continuous basis.
