Role : Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Specialist Job Type : Full Time Job Positions : 2 Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Working) Job Description : - 9 to 12 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with expertise in SAP S/4HANA. - Strong hands-on experience in CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and RAP. - Experience with RICEF objects, including enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows. - Proficiency in Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and IDocs. - Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ABAP programs. - Experience with SAP Workflow, Event Handling, and S/4HANA Extensibility options. - Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP services. - Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, system upgrades, and migrations. - Ability to lead, coordinate with stakeholders, and work in a cross-functional team environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities : SAP ABAP Development & Optimization : - Develop and optimize ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA using CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services. - Design and implement custom enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, and workflows (RICEF). - Develop and maintain Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and IDocs for document management and business communications. - Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, performance optimization, and secure coding standards. Technical Expertise & Solution Design : - Leverage ABAP Restful Application Programming Model (RAP) for modern S/4HANA developments. - Optimize ABAP programs utilizing SAP HANA features like code pushdown and performance tuning techniques. - Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SAP S/4HANA applications. - Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integrate them with backend ABAP services. - Implement SAP Workflow and Event Handling to enhance business process automation. Collaboration & Leadership : - Collaborate with SAP functional teams (FI, SD, MM, PP, etc.) to align technical solutions with business processes. - Lead and coordinate with stakeholders, business users, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration and system upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and system stability. Documentation & Compliance : - Document technical specifications, coding standards, and best practices for SAP development projects. - Ensure compliance with SAP security guidelines, governance policies, and industry best practices. - Provide technical support, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams as required.
