Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Dy Manager / Manager - Category Finance at Reliance Retail. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Bengaluru and requires a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 8 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations related to specific categories, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualitied Chartered Accountants / Cost and Management Accounting, with relevant experience
- Financial analysis experience, including interpreting financial statements and KPIs (Mandatory skill)
- Proficiency in budgeting techniques and financial planning (Mandatory skill)
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and requirements (Mandatory skill)
- Expertise in cost management to optimize category profitability
- Strong data analysis capabilities, proficient in using data analytics tools
- Ability to forecast future financial outcomes based on current data trends
- Experience in stakeholder management to facilitate collaboration across departments
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support category management and decision-making
- Prepare, monitor, and update budgets in collaboration with category teams
- Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
- Manage cost structures to improve category profitability and efficiency
- Analyze data trends to predict future financial performance and guide strategic planning
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives
- Implement financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis
