Role:

We are seeking experienced ETL Tester at Lead level who possess Strong knowledge on ETL processes, Query knowledge particularly in Postgres and SQL. Proficiency in any of the BI tools (Pentaho or PowerBI).The candidate should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven Leadership qualities who can mentor Junior team members and build team coordination.Responsibilities

:

Conduct end-to-end Testing of ETL processes to ensure Data accuracy and Integrity.Develop and execute SQL queries to validate ETL transformations.Utilize BI tools such as Pentaho or Power BI for Data visualization and Business needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure ETL solutions meet business needs.Conduct Performance testing of ETL processes to optimize ETL transformation steps, resource utilization.Collaborate closely with Product owner, developers, and BA to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and anomalies, working collaboratively with development teams to address and resolve issues promptly.Execute regression testing to validate data transformations and ensure seamless integration with existing BI Tool.Demonstrate leadership qualities by providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.Document test results, defects, and findings comprehensively, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.Requirement:

Proven experience as an ETL Tester, with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in BI and ETL testing.Proficiency in query languages such as SQL, Oracle and extensive experience with database systems, particularly Postgres.Strong understanding of ETL flow design, implementation, and testing methodologies.Experience with BI tools such as Pentaho or Power BI is advantageous.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with PO, developers, BA and cross-functional product teams.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
