Job Title: Sr. Specialist - VAVE (Benchmarking, Teardown analysis,
Cost Reduction & Product Cost Optimization activities for Electromechanical components)
Experience: 10+ years
Location: Hyderabad
Requirement:
* 10+ years of experience Automotive industry, especially in Powertrain domain.
* Experience worked in automotive powertrain domain.
* Bachelor Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics.
* Value Engineering of mechanical systems
Job Description:
* Product cost optimization of E-mobility systems such as PHEV/ MHEV systems, E-axles, Inverters, Motors, sensors and motor & Electronic Components
* Knowledge of Materials and manufacturing process
* Identify VA/VE and Design to Cost potentials by performing Internal workshops, Benchmarking, Teardown analysis, and Supplier workshops
* Lead technical discussions and cross-functional project meetings and facilitate cross-functional workshops to develop cost-reduction ideas within the organization and with the supplier
* Lead all change management activities from proposal to the implementation of cost reduction activities for Electromechanical components
* Evaluate cost reduction ideas through technical and commercial analysis and data gathering during the whole Product Life Cycle
* Should have very good English communication and presentation skills
