Overview  

We are seeking a highly skilled React/Next.js Engineer with deep expertise in React 18 and Next.js 14 . The ideal candidate should have proven experience building high-performance, real-time web applications — ideally in domains like trading, finance, or other performance-critical platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing interactive applications with strict performance budgets, modern server-first patterns, and real-time data flows . 

Responsibilities  

• Design, develop, and maintain performant applications using React 18 and Next.js 14 . 
• Implement Next.js App Router, Server Actions, Route Handlers, Middleware, ISR, and Edge Runtime features. 
• Build server-first applications with React Server Components, Suspense, and streaming SSR. 
• Optimize application performance using React Profiler, @next/bundle-analyzer, dynamic imports, next/image, and caching strategies . 
• Deliver trading-focused UIs with high-FPS charts, responsive data grids, debounced inputs, optimistic updates, and skeleton loading states. 
• Manage real-time data using WebSockets or SSE for quotes and order updates. 
• Implement forms using React Hook Form + Zod with server-side validation. 
• Build modular, accessible UIs with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Radix Primitives (plus occasional Chakra UI). 
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with TypeScript (strict mode), ESLint, and Prettier . 
• Ensure quality with Playwright E2E testing, Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, and accessibility checks . 
• Contribute to observability and security practices including Sentry, New Relic, CSP with next-safe, secure cookies, and AuthN/AuthZ . 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable solutions. 

Technical Requirements  

• 3+ years of experience with React.js and Next.js (minimum 1+ year with Next.js 13/14 App Router). 
• Strong command of React 18 features : Suspense, streaming SSR, useTransition, useOptimistic, useDeferredValue. 
• Expertise in Next.js 14 tooling : Server Actions, Route Handlers, Middleware, ISR, revalidation strategies, and caching. 
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning for mission-critical applications. 
• Knowledge of trading UX patterns (charts, grids, optimistic UI updates, etc.) is highly desirable. 
• Strong state management skills with TanStack Query, SWR, and server-driven patterns (RSC + Server Actions) . 
• Experience with forms & validation using React Hook Form + Zod. 
• Strong understanding of real-time systems using WebSockets or SSE. 
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, and component-driven design . 
• Solid experience in TypeScript with strict typing. 
• Familiarity with Playwright, Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library . 
• Exposure to Sentry, New Relic, or similar observability tools . 

Nice to Have  

• Prior experience building trading or fintech platforms . 
• Familiarity with Node.js backend development for building complementary APIs. 
• Experience with cloud-native deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure) . 
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices .
