Assistant Manager – In-App Merchandising Planning

The online fashion platform also provides free delivery, free returns, cash on delivery and the option for click and collect.
As an eCommerce Merchandiser for our fashion website, you will play a pivotal role in curating and optimizing the online shopping experience to drive sales and enhance brand perception. You will leverage your passion for fashion, analytical skills, and understanding of consumer behavior to strategically merchandise our product offerings, manage inventory, and execute promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Merchandising Strategy & Execution
• Plan and implement day-to-day in-app merchandising strategies aligned with business goals.
• Develop and manage promotional campaigns to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Curate and showcase products based on customer behavior, trends, and preferences.
Customer Behavior Analysis
• Monitor and analyze in-app customer journey metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leverage data insights to optimize product visibility, navigation, and user experience.
2. Product Presentation:
• Optimize product listings to maximize visibility, relevance, and conversion rates using SEO best practices.
• Ensure accurate product information, images, pricing, and inventory availability across all online channels.
• A/B test product pages and make data-driven decisions to improve product presentation and user experience.
3. Sales Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize eCommerce analytics tools (e.g.,Google Analytics, Moengage,) to monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics.
• Identify trends and insights to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
4. Promotions and Campaigns:
• Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content, social media assets, and email campaigns that align with merchandising initiatives.
5. Market and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences.
• Use insights to adjust merchandising tactics, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts accordingly.
6. Customer Experience:
• Optimize the user experience across the website, ensuring intuitive navigation, mobile responsiveness, and a seamless checkout process.
• Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, reduce bounce rates, and increase repeat purchases.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Min 3 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising within the fashion industry, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
• Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Moengage) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
• Excellent visual merchandising skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and product styling.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
• Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is plus.
