Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement efficient and user-friendly search functionality for our web application- Integrate with backend APIs to fetch data and ensure seamless data flow between the server and the client- Implement advanced search features such as filtering, sorting, and pagination to enhance the user experience- Optimize query performance and ensure fast response times for search results- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality search solutions- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues related to search functionality- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in full-stack development and search implementations
Requirements:- Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)- Proven experience in developing and implementing search functionality in web applications- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating with backend services- Expertise in writing optimized database queries and designing efficient data models- Familiarity with search algorithms, indexing techniques, and query optimization- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch or Solr- Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques- Experience with agile development methodologies- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing search implementations
