Job Details.
Job Title : QA Automation Engineer/Lead.
Location : Bangalore (Hybrid).
Total Exp : 4-8 years of experience.
Must have :
- Mobile App testing iOS/Android, Mobile Automation using Appium, WebDriver.
- IO or Selenium, JavaScript, Java.
- CI/CD pipeline, Manual testing, API Testing using Postman, Mock server testing.
- Test plan and test cases design strategy.
- JIRA, Confluence.
Total Exp :
- 4-8 years of experience, Relevant exp 3 5 years in Mobile App automation.
- Hands on skills coding skills, Web Application testing.
Nice to have : Developer console, Accessibility testing, API Testing, Analytics testing.
We are searching for a talented and passionate QA Automation Engineer/Lead to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications (iOS and Android) through automation practices.
This role offers an opportunity to combine your strong technical skills with your passion for software quality.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using frameworks like Appium, WebDriver.IO, or Selenium.
- Implement best practices for test automation, including modularity, reusability, and maintainability.
- Develop and execute manual test cases for mobile applications.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and participate in mock server testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Design effective test plans and test case strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of test automation frameworks and processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and feedback.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project management, bug tracking, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications :
- 4-8 years of experience in software testing, with 3-5 years specifically focused on mobile app automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with coding skills (JavaScript, Java preferred).
- Expertise in mobile app testing methodologies (both manual and automated).
- Proficient in Appium, WebDriver.IO, or Selenium for mobile automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and mock server testing practices.
- Strong understanding of test plan and test case design strategies.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for software quality and a continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to Haves :
- Experience with developer console debugging techniques. Knowledge of accessibility testing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with analytics testing methodologies.
