Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong analytical skills, and experience in the Edtech industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, educators, and developers, to identify and understand business objectives, requirements, and priorities within the Edtech industry.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather, document, and prioritise detailed business requirements and user stories for the development of new features and enhancements to the Edtech platform.
  • Defining MIS requirements and needs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and opportunities for innovation in the Edtech space.
  • Assist in the creation of product roadmaps, feature prioritisation, and backlog management based on business goals, user feedback, and market insights.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with stakeholders to elicit requirements, clarify expectations, and resolve conflicts.
  • Perform data analysis and create meaningful reports to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and quality assurance processes to ensure successful implementation and delivery of new features and enhancements.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the Edtech landscape, including knowledge of learning management systems, educational software, and online learning platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Should have experience of working on "Qliksence Visulization Tool"
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including educators, developers, and executives.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modelling, and documentation specific to the Edtech industry.
  • Strong MS Excel, Advanced Excel, Google Sheets & power-point skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, database schema design and development, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Visualisation Tools such as Qlik Sense, Metabase, Power BI or Similar tools.
  • Techniques to derive insights from user behaviour and performance metrics.
  • Extra Data analysis tools like Google Script, R, Python, Big Query, AWS, Data Pipeline.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and pedagogical approaches in the Edtech space is a plus.
