LtdAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Quantexa Data Engineer (Big Data | Spark | Hadoop | Scala)- Location: Bengaluru- Work Model: Hybrid- Experience: 4+ Years- Notice Period: Immediate - 15 daysDesignation ConsultantRole type Big Data EngineerJob Requirements Mandatory Skills• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or a related technical discipline• 4+ years of experience in consulting or client service delivery experience.• Proven expertise in developing and implementing detection or predictive models for fraud, financial crime, or customer insights.• Use emerging and open-source technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Scala.• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Scala/Java. Familiarity with Python, Elastic, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Tomcat adds an advantage.• Experience building metrics deck and dashboards for KPIs including the underlying data models. • Understand how to design, implement, and maintain a platform providing secured access to large datasets• Quantexa Certified Data Engineer or Experience with Quantexa• Exposure to a range of table and file formats including Hive, Parquet and JSON• Experience in cloud native technologies and patterns (AWS, Google Cloud)• Experience of driving and/or influencing the data strategy of your team or organization• Familiarity with open-source data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Trino) is a valuable assetPrimary Roles and ResponsibilitiesAn Quantexa Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure for an organization. This includes creating data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, and implementing data security and privacy measures. The Quantexa Data Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting data flows and optimizing data storage and processing for performance and cost efficiency.Preferred Skills• Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or a related technical discipline• 4+ years of work experience with ETL, Data Modelling, and Data Architecture.• Previous exposure to Quantexa platform concepts such as Entity Resolution, App Architecture, Network Analytics, and User Interface.• Ability to interact with stakeholders from technical and non-technical backgrounds.• Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, ability to accurately determine cause and effect relations• Proven track record partnering with business owners to understand requirements and developing analysis to solve their business problems• Proven analytical and quantitative ability and a passion for enabling customers to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analysisOther InformationNumber of interview rounds 2Mode of interview VirtualJob location Bangalore/HyderabadPlease let me know if you are interested in this position and send your resume to
