High Energy Service (HES), a Monadelphous Business, is currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join our team based in Wangara.Working with HES offers many benefits, some of which include: Competitive remuneration packages that reward experience and competency HES has a long-term sustainable business model that enables us to offer a full-time position with excellent, long-term job security Extensive internal development and training opportunities allowing you to continually progress your career and capabilities The working roster is flexible, enabling you to take control of your workload Key Responsibilities: Responsible for repairs and maintenance of switchgear and HV equipment Transformer maintenance including testing, repairs and streamlining Responsible for maintaining company plant, equipment, and vehicles, including the preparation of their monthly reports and testing Preparation of service reports and QA test sheets Run morning prestart and assign works to align with company timelines Ability to guide and mentor apprentices Safety, Quality and Compliance focus What you’ll bring: Prior experience in a High Voltage environment Experience with HV switchgear and transformer oil processing and handling Knowledge of HV switchgear and transformer parts and components Previous experience working with all Australian and international standards within the electrical industry Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels Well-developed communication skills and ability to mentor others Basic skills in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Trade Qualified Electrician HV Switching Ticket Unrestricted WA Drivers Licence Right to work in Australia Life at MonadelphousThere’s lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
