Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
A. Editorial and operational responsibilities of Organization Journal
You would be responsible for bringing out company Journal every month and being responsible for the entire content and operations of the process.
1. Content Planning:
Making an annual plan lead stories & focus Product Divisions
Monthly planning and segregation of stories for company Journal
2. Content Generation and Sourcing
Getting content generated through various sources.
Coordinating and conducting interviews of experts from the industry for the magazine
Commissioning articles from freelance writers.
Adding to a pool of writers for company Journal
3. Magazine Content Evaluation & Editing
Reviewing the quality and relevance, and the accuracy of the submissions in consultation with Senior Organization staff, Division Team and Editorial Board)
Editing and proofreading the content of the entire Journal and re-writing articles, if needed,
4. Logistics for Design & Printing
Ensuring timelines for content, design, printing and circulation of Company Journal are met.
5. Subscription & Advertisement
Overseeing and monitoring subscription and advertisement sales for the company Journal and push for maximum reach.
6. Magazine compliances
Overseeing the mandatory filings and regulatory compliance of company Journal. Coordinating with auditors, filing papers with the authority, and maintaining proper records/ logins related to the regulatory filings.
B. Editorial responsibilities of Annual Report
1. Content planning
Working with various departments within the association to determine the content that needs to be included in the Annual Report.
2. Writing and editing
Developing clear and concise language to convey complex financial and business information in a manner that is easily understandable to a wide range of readers.
Editing content for clear comprehensive language, grammar etc.
3. Structure and organization
Determining the overall layout and structure of the report.
Ensure there is a logical flow of content and reports give a comprehensive overview of the association's performance and operations.
4. Design and layout
Oversee the design and layout of the report with designated company staff.
5. Proofreading and review
Thorough proofreading and editing of the report for grammatical accuracy and completeness.
6. Printing and distribution
Overseeing the printing and distribution of the Annual Report with designated company staff.
C. Corporate Communication Responsibilities
1. Events:
Preparing Press releases, pointers and speeches for events
2. Presidium Articles/Thought Leadership Articles
Curate articles that showcase Industry expertise, insights, and industry trends, challenges, and opportunities
