Job Description: Student Placement Head (Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Gaming) -West & North

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Student Placement Head to spearhead placement initiatives for students in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, and Gaming. This role is critical to bridging the gap between student talent and leading studios, ensuring a successful career launch for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Studio Scouting and Relationship Building:

- Proactively identify and connect with Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Multimedia and other Avenues studios/Companies across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.- Build and maintain strong relationships with studio heads, HR teams, and hiring managers to create consistent placement pipelines.

Placement Opportunities and Collaborations:

- Partner with industry leaders to bring internship and placement opportunities.- Act as a liaison between studios and students, ensuring alignment of skills and job requirements.

Training and Development:

- Conduct Personality Development sessions, focusing on grooming students for professional success.- Facilitate workshops on Interview Etiquette, Resume Building, and Communication Skills.

Data Management and Tracking:

- Maintain detailed records of student placements, studio interactions, and related metrics in Excel and other tools.- Regularly update student profiles and placement tracking systems to ensure accuracy.

Travel and Representation:

- Travel extensively across the West Zone (Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh) to meet studios and represent the institution at industry events.- Attend seminars and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and networking opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in placement, career counseling, or talent acquisition, Experience in the Animation, VFX, Multimedia, or Gaming industry would be a plus.- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in MS Excel for data tracking.- Willingness to travel extensively within the West Zone.- Ability to inspire and mentor students, fostering confidence and professionalism.
