Senior QA Engineer

Creation of test plans, test requirements and test casesInvolvment in requirements, contribution to test cases, test scenarios and test plan developmentsWriting precise and concise issue descriptions that add value for the team evaluating the issueUsing formal software QA methodologies and standard software development practices to construct test suites and build test environments including test databasesEstablishment of test procedures, and product certificationsMaintain and update test cases according to new features and platformsSpecification and execution of performance and stability testsTest status reporting, as part of product release, or on demand certificationGeneration of bug reports, and trackingSupporting the development team by reproducing customer issuesMaintenance of test platforms to provide complete coverage of supported systems and configurationsRequired Skill SetsDevelop, write and execute manual test cases within the specified quality standardsInvestigate use cases, identify defects, submit bug reportsExperience in API testing, test automation and manual testing in Windows / Unix / Linux based environmentsShould have basic programming knowledge or, ideally, experienceExperience in API testingShould have working experience in writing and executing test automation scripts, experience in building and integrating with automation frameworksShould have working experience in Web services testing (SOAP/REST)Working experience with testing of multi-threaded applicationWorking experience with database systems, should have working experience in SQLUnderstand and be able to write database scripts to validate and test data integrity and performanceInterpersonal SkillsGood verbal and non-verbal communication along with good at decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who qualifies as a team player.Educational QualificationAny graduate or post graduate degree in B.E., Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
