In this role, you will work closely with our developers and product teams to optimize the intents and entities of the model and improve understanding and intent classification. Your work will directly impact the quality of user interactions, ensuring that our chatbot is contextually aware.

You will make an impact byCurating, organizing and annotating datasets for training and testing chatbot responses, ensuring that the chatbot can accurately recognize user intents, entities and contextual nuancesIdentifying gaps or errors in the chatbot’s current patterns, providing insights to enhance the NLP model’s effectivenessEvaluating the chatbot’s performance through testing and user feedback, making data-driven recommendations to refine its understanding and improve its response accuracyWorking closely with front-end engineers to provide feedback on model performance and assisting in iterating on the NLP model training pipelinePerforming quality checks and different types of testing (e.g. k-fold, blind etc.) to test the model’s intent classification accuracy

Required Qualifications1+ years of working with NLP models and/or chatbots1+ years of knowledge of AI/chatbot development landscape, tools and other frameworks1+ years of training or improving chatbot training data and using various methods of testing to evaluate intent classification accuracy1+ years of leveraging of conversational AI best practices1+ years of experience in CICD, Git, unit-testing and source code management1+ years of working in an Agile environment, with knowledge in DevOps approaches, end-to-end software development processes and business requirements

Preferred QualificationsExperience with IBM Watson AssistantExperience with IBM Voice gateway and / or IBM Discovery is a plusKnowledge of automated speech recognition, including SSML tagging for TTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
