IS/IT Product Owner - WAN Connectivity

ready to join Nestlé’s IT Platforms Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team , You will be responsible for sustain, deployment, retirement and leverage of Connectivity products and for the effective and efficient operational support of those products. You will also be responsible for operational service management processes to ensure that quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved.

A Day in the Life of… IS/IT Product Owner - WAN Connectivity

Under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and Operations Manager in the respective region, The Product Owner - WAN is responsible for the effective and efficient operational support of the aligned products. Other responsbilities include:Ensure the delivery of efficient and secure IS/IT operations, support IS/IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business and provide input to the development team and tech lead as well as to peers responsible for other aspects of operationsEnsures the delivery of efficient and secure IS/IT operations, supports IS/IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, and provides input to the development team and tech lead as well as to peers responsible for other aspects of operationsOversee the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration and event managementEnsures IS/IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitmentsSupport the implementation and management of quality and efficiency improvements of IS/IT service delivery to drive value and supportSupports market & project testing; supports specification, configuration & sustain activities and utilizes 3rd party services as directedParticipates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IS/IT operations environmentWorks with product or platform teams to ensure good coordination of IS/IT changes without impacting business processesWorks with supplier teams to ensure good coordination of product changes without impacting IS/IT Consumers and business processesResponsible for operational compliance of all technology-related issues across IS/IT including information security, privacy, business continuity, identity management, user access and data integrity

What else will make you successful?

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience6+ years of experience in IS/IT, preferably working in a DevOps environmentExperience in service management principles and executionDemonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metricsStrong IS/IT operations acumen, including cross-domain knowledge and preferably earlier career experience in an individual contributor role in IT operationsExperience working in a global environment and with virtual teamsExperience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in EnglishKnowledge and experience in leveraging both: traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agilityDiversified background of technical infrastructure experience, experience with Digital business platforms (APIs, software-defined, virtual data center, cloud, etc.), DevOps approach, interpersonal and collaboration skills, and end-to-end understanding of IT business solutionsExcellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
