Banking Technical Consultant: Job Description: Apex Lead Advises, designs, and supports banking clients in developing, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle APEX- based applications, ETL processes, and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities - Work with business and technical stakeholders to design and develop Oracle APEX applications for data management, reporting, and operational workflows. - Experience in leading a team of Apex developers for design and development of Apex based applications. - Build and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple banking source systems. - Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for data integration and reporting automation. - Design, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports to support business and regulatory reporting needs. - Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and business analysts to ensure high data quality, consistency, and compliance with banking standards. - Support ongoing modernization and migration eNorts for legacy reporting platforms to Oracle APEX. - Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization of ETL jobs and APEX applications. - Provide production support and troubleshoot application or data-related issues in a timely manner. Experience & Domain Knowledge - 3–8 years of experience in banking technology solutions, with a focus on Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, ETL development, and reporting frameworks. - Proven experience in working on banking data warehouses, MIS systems, and reporting applications. - Good understanding of the banking domain, including Retail Banking, Lending, Deposits, Payments, CRM, Regulatory Reporting, and Compliance Systems. - Experience in data integration across multiple banking applications and databases. - Ability to interpret complex business requirements into eNicient data and reporting solutions. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience - Expertise in Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, PL/SQL. - Good knowledge of data modelling, data governance, and performance tuning in Oracle environments. - Hands-on experience in developing secure and scalable web applications within the APEX environment. - Good communication and documentation skills with the ability to work closely with cross- functional business and technology teams. Good collaborating with banking productt vendors and managing application integration.
