Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Equipment Design Engineer to join our cloud kitchen team. As an Equipment Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative equipment solutions to optimize our kitchen operations. Your expertise will help us streamline food preparation, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Design: Design and develop new equipment, as well as modify existing equipment, to meet the needs of our cloud kitchen operations.
  • Kitchen Layout: Collaborate with the operations team to optimize kitchen layouts and workflows.
  • Prototyping: Create prototypes and test equipment designs to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and procure equipment, materials, and components.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Oversee equipment installation and provide maintenance support.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce equipment costs and improve ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including culinary, operations, and procurement.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure equipment designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in equipment design, kitchen operations, or a related field.

Skills: Proficiency in CAD design, prototyping, and project management.

Knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety regulations, and industry standards.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Cloud Kitchen Experience: Familiarity with cloud kitchen operations and technology.

2. Certifications: Certifications in food safety, equipment design, or related fields.
