Job Summary:


As an Azure DevOps Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and container orchestration platforms within an Azure environment. Your expertise in Azure DevOps tools, Git Hub, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies will be instrumental in optimizing software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, automation, and continuous delivery of high-quality software solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos) to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Configure and manage version control systems, particularly Git Hub, to facilitate collaboration, versioning, and code review workflows among development teams.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring code quality and reliability.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and prioritize tasks in accordance with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on Azure DevOps best practices, Git workflows, Kubernetes deployment strategies, and Agile practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements by implementing security best practices, access controls, and vulnerability assessments within Azure environments.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies, and evaluate their potential impact on existing workflows and processes.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Azure DevOps tools (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and Git Hub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and Azure environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and their DevOps tools and services.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools beyond Azure DevOps, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
