Understand Business Logic thoroughly and design, develop DB accordingly Should possess practical workings with large data sets and DB volumes. Should also be able to optimize database performance, ensure data security and access controls, and monitor database health. Development of high-quality database solutions & managing large scale database system is a plus. Extensive Knowledge of advance query concepts (e.g. group by, having clause, union so on). Strong experience in developing complex database code with T-SQL, SSRS and SQL Server following best practices to support UI, Middleware and Batch applications. Candidate should be strong in Transact-SQL i.e. writing Stored Procedures, UDF and Triggers. Proficient in Tuning T-SQL queries to improve the database performance and availability. Monitoring Server Performance using SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard and Windows Performance Monitor. Experience in Creating and Updating Clustered and Non-Clustered Indexes to keep up the SQL Server Performance. Good knowledge in Normalizing and De-normalizing the tables and maintaining Referential Integrity by using Triggers Skill Set: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. skills and team work Should have minimum 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment. Proficient in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) Familiar and expert in Database Design, Development & Support of MS SQL Server 2008/2005/2000for Production/development. Expertise in Transact-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) and in Design and Normalization of the database tables. Very good experience and understanding of database design/modeling, OLTP systems. Experience with either SQL 2005 or SQL 2008 R2 is a must. Working Knowledge on SQL 2012 is an added advantage. Have strong and confident communication skill set in customer support and presentation.Qualifications: Any Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree with more than 2+ years relevant work experience.
