As part of our commitment to enhancing the retail experience, we're focusing on crafting a comprehensive platform designed to seamlessly manage every aspect of retail operations for Reliance Retail. The Seller Central team is building a platform that will empower vendors and sellers within Reliance Retail's ecosystem, facilitating effortless onboarding, streamlined product listing, and efficient order management across diverse business channels such as JioMart, Ajio, Tira, Urban ladder etc. Our goal is to provide a user-friendly interface, robust scalability, seamless integration capabilities, and powerful analytics tools. The team would be working on building, scaling, and customizing the platform for various business needs while meeting the need for constant support and robust security for the platform and its users. The candidate must have 3-6 years of testing experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Role As a software development engineer in test at Jio Platforms, youll play a key role in helping teams produce high-quality software. Actively seeking out opportunities for test coverage, infrastructure, and framework improvements, youll be an enabling force; allowing developers to deliver value to our customers quickly and safely. Youll work closely with developers, product managers and sre teams to optimize the product for reliability and scalability. Collaborating with Engineering leaders and fellow Test Engineers, youll help define effective test strategies and process improvements to help quality at Jio Platforms. Responsibilities Deliver test plans based on Product test strategies, and own test plan reviews with engineers and other stakeholders across functions. Support deploying the software applications in managed environments and provide post-deployment testing. Log software defects in tracking tools with reproduce steps and Verify defects after the fix. Collaborate with development team on reproducing, detailing, and documenting reported defects. Perform full stack integration testing within our continuous integration/ continuous testing/ continuous deployment pipeline. Design and develop new automated test framework or extend existing ones for testing and deployment validations. Guide the test framework, test preconditions, and other test control and reporting functions. Writing high quality code, participating in code reviews, participating in designing/architecting systems of varying complexity and scope, and creating testing framework supporting the design/coding tasks. Plan to automate and execute performance test website and all back-end services for every release and as requested. Own and drive the testing of our entire ecosystem that consists of several applications, workflows and processes. Qualifications/Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Proficient in functional testing, API/Web-Services testing. Expertise in Automation testing. Minimum 2+ years' experience developing scripts and test automation (Java and knowledge on shell scripts will be an add on). Experience with relational databases, designing schemas and formulating complex SQL queries. Familiarity with Linux or other UNIX server class operating systems. Experience identifying root cause of a defect, using debugging tools and techniques analyzing code, log files and other artefacts. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Team player with strong communication skills, excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address complex technical problems. Demonstrate strong knowledge in software development lifecycle, software quality testing principles, practices, and patterns.
