Role : Ab-Initio Developer

- Immediate Joiner.

Experience : 6-12 Years.

Location : PAN India (Hybrid).

Job Description :

- Should have extensive hands-on experience working on latest Ab Initio suite of products viz. GDE, CoOp, EME, Plans, Control Center.

- Hands-on experience in advanced Ab Initio concepts including PDL, Meta Programming etc.

- Hands-on experience on HDFS and Hive.

- Extensive experience working with UNIX Shell Scripting.

- Should have knowledge in Data Warehousing, Unix.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum based projects.

- Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

TOP Skillset :

- Strong exp in Abinitio GDE components and experience with Plans, Express-It, Query-It, and Metadata Hub.

- Strong knowledge on Unix or shell scripting.

Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio data pipelines using the latest Ab Initio suite of products (GDE, Co>Op, EME, Plans, Control Center).


- Leverage advanced Ab Initio concepts like PDL and Meta Programming to create efficient and scalable data solutions.


- Work hands-on with HDFS and Hive to manage and process large datasets.


- Utilize Express It BRE and Quer It (preferred) for business rules engine and query management.


- Write and maintain robust UNIX Shell Scripts for automation and data manipulation.


- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and UNIX systems.


- Contribute to Agile/Scrum projects, collaborating effectively with teams and adapting to changing requirements.


- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.


Required Skills :


Ab Initio :


- Extensive experience with GDE components, Plans, Express-It, Query-It, and Metadata Hub.


UNIX/Shell Scripting :


- Strong proficiency in UNIX environments and shell scripting.


Data Warehousing :


- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing principles and practices.


Agile/Scrum :


- Experience working in Agile or Scrum project methodologies.


Problem-solving :


- Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and find effective solutions.


Communication :


- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


Teamwork :


- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.


Preferred Skills :


- Knowledge of additional data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
