We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager specializing in Data Engineering. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence in the data engineering domain.


To excel in this role, you need robust expertise in Data Engineering, proficiency in Databricks and Snowflake, along with Azure Data Lake or similar competency. Building trust with clients is essential, and you should relish the opportunity to lead with innovative ideas.

Core responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the data engineering segment.
  • Develop strong relationships with client service professionals (CAO/CDAO/CIO) and others to understand specific opportunities, leads, and engagements, and drive account growth.
  • Plan, oversee and participate in sales pitches including prospect identification, pitch development, presentations and review.
  • Define & execute sales strategy to identify industries and verticals to target based on our service offerings & create a point of view and lead the sales pitches to win new work.
  • Build pipeline around monthly/ quarterly/ annual sales targets.
  • Create sales collateral, presentations, and other materials to support the sales team in effectively communicating the value proposition of our data engineering solutions.


Requirements -

  • As a Data Engineering Sales Specialist in our analytics capability, you will be tasked with advancing the growth of the practice.
  • 8+ years of overall experience with minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Databricks and Snowflake, Azure DL or similar.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on data engineering, cloud technologies, or related domains.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a robust technology background coupled with a fervent commitment to aiding clients in shaping their overarching data engineering Sales experience in U.S. and Europe is preferred
