Job Purpose:As the Innovation Program Manager for Performance Improvement (Solar) at our progressive renewables company, your mission is to elevate the efficiency, performance, and reliability of our Solar energy plants through strategic integration of cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices. Your role encompasses fostering collaboration, harnessing data-driven insights, and driving transformative change across our operations and maintenance (O&M) teams. You will be responsible for keeping our existing assets up to date with the latest & commercially viable technologies that improve the performance of our plants.

Principal Accountabilities:

-Collaborate with O&M: Forge strong relationships with O&M teams at HQ and plant sites, ensuring open communication and alignment of technological initiatives with operational needs.

Market and Competitive Insights: Monitor and analyze technology deployments by competitors and industry trends to identify potential areas for operational improvement and technology adoption.

Data-driven Performance Enhancement:,

analyze, and interpret plant performance data to identify opportunities for increasing generation efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing overall operational performance.

- **Advanced Monitoring and Maintenance:* * Leverage advanced technologies such as AI and ML to develop and implement sophisticated monitoring systems, predictive maintenance strategies, and data-driven insights to optimize plant operations.

**Strategic Technology Mapping:**

Develop a comprehensive map of existing technologies deployed across plant sites, identify gaps, and areas for enhancement through the integration of innovative solutions.

- **Technology Evaluation and Selection:**

Scout, evaluate, and shortlist commercially viable technologies that have the potential to significantly increase power generation, aligning with strategic goals and plant-specific requirements.

- **Partnership and Networking:**

Collaborate closely with the ABMCPL Innovation Fund, innovation cell, DNA teams to establish strong relationships with startups and external partners, facilitating technology scouting, and knowledge exchange.

- **A|B Testing:** Design robust testing and Impact Assessment from data.

- **Innovation Propagation and Culture Building:**

Design and implement an innovative program to engage and motivate O&M crews in problem-solving and solution creation, fostering a culture of innovation by sharing best practices.

* Budget Allocation and Design Thinking:O rganize annual design thinking sessions to define innovation priorities, allocate budgets, and plan pilot projects that align with operational enhancement goals.

-Measure Impact and Reportage:

Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of implemented technologies, generating regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

-Continuous Learning and Knowledge Building:

Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices through participation in relevant industry events.

Change Management and Adaptation:

Navigate change management challenges, ensuring successful adoption of new technologies and practices while addressing any resistance or operational disruptions.Job Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience.- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Renewable Energy.- Background in operations, technology integration, designing, and executing innovation programs.- Certification in project management preferred.- Track record of successful cross-functional & inclusive teamwork.- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing plant performance metrics.- Expertise in O&M strategies within the renewable energy sector.- Proficient in emerging technologies, AI, and ML applications.- Strong project management skills.- Networking and relationship-building abilities.
