We want to make it easy for our users to move data in and out of Aerospike Database. Users shouldbe able to ingest data easily into aerospike without writing custom applications.Similarly, Users should be able to stream the data in Aerospike to downstream systems like Kafkaand JMS. We also want to develop frameworks to allow our users to write massivelyparallel applications in systems like spark and trino, to unlock the full potential of Aerospike.In this role, you will develop connectors to various distributed systems which are used by our largeenterprise customers. Aerospike’s strength against the competition is its high performancedesign and implementation across its products. To maintain that standard, these connectors shouldbe highly scalable and super optimal. It is not an easy task. Your role will involveimplementing new features and iterating over that with performance analysis. Your role willalso involve troubleshooting customer issues arising from a diverse array of deployments, bugfixes, and fine tuning based on the use case. This needs an innovative mindset and a collaborativespirit to thrive in an environment where each day presents new and exciting challenges to overcome.

Required Skills5+ years of experienceLanguages : Java, KotlinDealt with Java plugins, Multithreading, Networking, Storage, MapReduceBuilt applications/middleware interfacing with Kafka, Pulsar, JMS, Spark, TrinoTroubleshooting/Root-cause analysis and Performance AnalysisComfortable with development and testing tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Junit, etc.

Bonus SkillsDistributed SystemsNoSQL databases

ResponsibilitiesDevelop quality software and web applicationsAnalyze and maintain existing software applicationsDesign highly scalable, testable codeDiscover and fix programming bugs
