Coforge is hiring Data Modeler for Greater Noida/ Pune locationsExperience Range- 5- 10yrsNotice Period- Immediate to 30 days onlyThe Data Modeler will be responsible for translating business requirements into conceptual, logical/canonical and physical data models. The Data Modeler will model ODS, Staging Area and Data Warehouse models for on-prem and cloud-base tech stack.Responsibilities include:- Facilitate requirements elicitation and modeling sessions including use of interview, document analysis, workshops etc.- Collaborate with the architect and technical lead on the solution design- Model BI Solutions including operational data stores, Staging Areas and Normalized/Dimensional Data Warehouse- Participate in data definition and data management reviews- Define and design data integration interfaces- Work with the database administrator to create physical database designs- Provide guidance and partner with project management, development and QA teams by applying knowledge of database design- Assist with the development and enforcement of data modeling standards- Establish and maintain processes to support and grow data modeling practicesREQUIRED SKILLS- 3+ years of experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio, or Rational or other similar modeling tools- 5+ years of SQL experience- Strong knowledge of Relational and Dimensional data modeling concepts- An in-depth understanding of the Data Life Cycle, data modeling concept and principles- Must have an in-depth experience of at least one major cloud based DB Tech stack e.g. Postgres, Redshift, Azure SQL Server and so on.- Experience with storing metadata/data dictionaries within formal modeling tool- Strong Experience working on large volume databases- Experience working in complex projects with multi-tier architecture- Proficient in Data-Management concepts, practices and procedures- Working experience with at least one data integration technologies such as Glue, ADF, Python, Informatica, SSIS and so on.- Strong Business Acumen highly preferable- Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment- Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings- Familiarity with Insurance domain preferred
