Role Overview:

As an Operations Manager , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, research, monitoring, and evaluation of government skilling initiatives. You will be responsible for stakeholder management, ensuring compliance with government guidelines, and driving measurable outcomes for the programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of skilling programs under PMKVY, Vishwakarma Scheme, and other initiatives.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects within budget and as per government mandates.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, SOPs, and process improvements.
  1. Government Relations:
  • Liaise with government authorities, including Ministries, NSDC, and state skill development missions, to align program objectives.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and stakeholder forums.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with funding agencies, government departments, and industry partners.
  1. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E):
  • Design and implement systems for tracking project performance, outcomes, and impact.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess the quality of training and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Research and Policy Alignment:
  • Stay updated on skilling policies, government schemes, and industry trends to ensure program relevance.
  • Conduct research on best practices and incorporate them into operational strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for scaling existing initiatives or introducing new programs.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Engage with industry partners, training providers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Facilitate partnerships with corporate sponsors for skill training and placement initiatives.
  • Address grievances or challenges faced by stakeholders and implement solutions proactively.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure all programs comply with government guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Submit periodic reports, utilization certificates, and other documentation to relevant authorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 8-10 years in operations, program management, or government skilling initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and teams.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of government skilling schemes (PMKVY, Vishwakarma, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and government relations skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and project monitoring tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
