Job Brief:

The Cafe Manager shall be responsible for managing & overseeing the daily food & beverage (F&B) operations, timely food preparation, servicing and cleanliness ensuring seamless experience for guests visiting the restaurant/cafes at the hotel/hostel. He shall also be responsible for purchasing/procurement, inventory management, accounting, people management, etc. to meet business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily cafe management operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Deliver superior food and beverage service, respond promptly to customer complaints to maximize satisfaction and maintain positive reviews
  • Manage both front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations, organize shifts and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Regularly review product quality, research for new vendors and maintain the restaurant's good image
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products to facilitate smooth operations
  • Control operational costs, identify measures to reduce waste and create detailed reports on revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth, live events, etc. to reach a broader audience
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Ensure timely repairs & maintenances, deep cleaning, stock keeping, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Hospitality graduate or diploma
  • >3 years of operational knowledge in F&B operations, hotel management or front desk
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, leadership and time-management skills
  • Willingness to work pan India (flexible)
