Greetings from Tata Consultancy ServiceJob Title: Linux AdminExperience Required: 3-5 yearsLocation: Chennai- Install, Configure, Manage, Support, and Maintain Linux installed systems- Ensure security hardening of Linux systems- Ensure security of systems and data- Manage system backups, restore, and recovery- Manage user accounts, groups, and services- Manage and maintain storage provisioned for Linux systems- Work with users to resolve account/system issues- Provide support on all Linux applications and UNIX based applications- Provide support to users on basic and advanced server related tasks- Assist with Linux server administration tasks- Perform other related duties as assigned.- Help troubleshoot problems with Linux servers, running various versions of Linux, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and SuSE- Engage in continuous testing of new Linux versions and applications on an on-demand basis- Perform change control- Assist with user management, such as creating accounts for new hires and training seasoned professionals on company policies- Help automate server maintenance, patching including running scripts and automated processes- Maintain server uptime and network performance- Assist with server documentation- Maintain server security- Ensure all administrative procedures are followed- Document all server incidents and outages- Level 3 troubleshooting support for Linux Operating system
