We are looking for a highly motivated
Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing functional mechanical devices and preparing them for real-world manufacturing processes. If you're passionate about turning ideas into engineered reality using CAD tools, simulation software, and rapid prototyping methods, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom 3D designs and functional mechanical devices from concept to prototype
  • Design mechanical components for manufacturing using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Conduct DFMEA and obtain design approval through cross-functional team collaboration
  • Release final designs with complete documentation, including 2D drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Run simulations (stress, thermal, motion, etc.) to validate and optimize designs
  • Prepare and adapt models for various manufacturing techniques such as: 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS), CNC machining, Laser cutting, Injection molding
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing teams for prototype development and production

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum
    1 year of industry experience
    in mechanical design and product development
  • Proficient in CAD tools
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing techniques, and materials
  • Hands-on experience with simulation software
  • Practical exposure to 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and other rapid manufacturing tools
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

  • Experience with DFM/DFA principles
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Understanding of ISO/ASME standards
