We are looking for a UAV Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in R&D, UAV integration, and testing.

The role requires someone who understands UAV avionics in depth, can configure and assemble systems, perform structured testing, and independently solve system-level problems during development.

The engineer must be capable of completing specific testing objectives defined by the technical lead, gathering and analyzing data, and driving issues to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and integrate UAV systems including avionics, propulsion, sensors, and payloads. Perform flight tests as per defined objectives and report outcomes clearly.

Analyze flight logs and telemetry data to identify issues and optimize performance.

Implement and verify basic PID tuning for stable flight performance.

Conduct power calculations for propulsion and payload systems to ensure proper sizing and reliability.

Work with serial communication protocols (UART, I2C, CAN, etc.) for sensor and peripheral integration.

Configure and tune UAVs using ArduPilot, PX4, Mission Planner, and QGroundControl. Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and technical goals, following structured testing procedures.

Document build configurations, test procedures, and performance data. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of practical experience in UAV development, integration, and testing.

Strong hands-on knowledge of avionics components (IMUs, GPS, ESCs, power modules, telemetry, etc.).

Experience with multicopter and VTOL UAV platforms.

Proficient in Mission Planner and QGroundControl, and confident with ArduPilot and PX4 firmware.

Familiarity with serial communication protocols (UART, CAN, etc.).

Ability to perform basic PID tuning and interpret tuning results.

Solid understanding of electrical power systems and power budgeting.

Capable of independently executing test objectives defined by the technical lead.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a hands-on attitude.

Nice to Have:

Experience with scripting (Python) or embedded development (C/C++).

Familiarity with MAVLink protocol.

Exposure to manufacturing processes or field deployment.
