Overview :

The Front End Developer is a vital component of our development team, focusing on the client-side of web applications to assure an engaging and interactive user experience. This role is critical for translating design concepts into functional code, ensuring the graphical interface is seamless and responsive on various devices and browsers.

As a Front End Developer, you will work collaboratively with designers, backend developers, and project managers, translating requirements into effective technical solutions. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will contribute to creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites and applications.

This position necessitates a commitment to continuous improvement, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, which will assist in delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet user needs and enhance overall client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform prototypes and wireframes into functional code.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and fix bugs/issues in various environments.

- Optimize application performance to enhance user experience.

- Implement and adhere to web accessibility standards.

- Conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.

- Integrate APIs and third-party services into web applications.

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in daily tasks.

- Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of functionality.

- Utilize version control systems for effective collaboration and management of code.

- Test web applications for usability and ensure all elements function well together.

- Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users or testing teams.

- Contribute ideas for improving user experience and interface design.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.

- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects.

- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. , React, Angular, Vue.js).

- Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g. , Bootstrap, Foundation).

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. , Git).

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

- Experience with testing tools and methodologies (e.g. , Jasmine, Mocha).

- Proficient understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail in user interfaces.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.

- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
