Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop concepts for Body in White (BIW) projects aligned with product development milestones and cross-functional requirements.• Provide extended support for BIW projects by delivering innovative solutions and concepts through collaboration with cross-functional teams.• Develop components using Siemens NX following defined methodologies and document deliverables in the PLM system for downstream processes.• Create, document, and archive all necessary joining elements adhering to established methodologies.• Address manufacturing, assembly, and tolerance requirements, supporting release management activities.• Ensure effective communication with business partners and actively share innovation and knowledge within the team. Required Skills and Experience:• Strong domain knowledge of Body in White (BIW) processes and vehicle development systems.• Expertise in joining elements, manufacturing, tolerance, and assembly processes.• Proficiency in Siemens NX for part construction and working knowledge of PLM systems.• Experience in information gathering, benchmarking, and applying Daimler methodologies, systems, and processes.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• High team spirit, learning attitude, and a driven-to-win mindset.• Exposure to intercultural collaboration and familiarity with the German language is a plus. QualifikationenEducational Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline from reputed institutions. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):• Experience working with Daimler methodologies and global cross-functional teams.• Exposure to intercultural aspects, especially German language skills.
