Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Data engineering with machine learning experience
  • Proficiency in Python, snowflake, DBT.
  • Strong documentation skills to hand-off code and software architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Migration of machine learning models from Spark to Snowflake.
  • Implement robust testing and validation frameworks to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of ML models in production.
  • Work closely with the data science and engineering team to understand and define project requirements.
  • Leverage snowflake and snowpark libraries and analyze data sets.
  • Documenting all steps in the development process.
  • Assist in the collection and cleaning of new data.
  • Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
