Position: Wintel Administrator


Required experience: 6+ years

Location: Hosur

Shift: 24/7 Rotational (Total 4 shifts)

Work days: 6 days a week


Must have experience in: Windows Server, Virtual Machine, Active Directory, File Server, Backup,


Good to have: Storage


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Windows Server Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers (including Active Directory, File Server, WSUS ).
  • Monitor server performance and ensure security and stability.
  • Manage server patching and updates through WSUS.
  1. Backup Management:
  • Manage and monitor backup tools, schedules, and restore processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive backup strategy to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Ensure backups are regularly tested for reliability and restore capabilities.
  1. Hardware Configuration:
  • Configure server and storage hardware, including management ports, RAID setups, and firmware upgrades.
  • Ensure hardware is optimized for performance and reliability, including server racks, SANs, NAS, and DAS.
  • Assist in scaling infrastructure for future needs and redundancy.
  1. Virtualization Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual environments, including VMware  platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance for virtual environments.
  • Oversee virtual network and storage management within these platforms.
  1. Storage Solutions Management:
  • Manage and monitor storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS , ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain storage allocation, manage capacity planning, and troubleshoot storage issues.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Continuously monitor server and storage performance.
  1. Basic Skills  in Linux administration would be an added advantage .
Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience in Windows server deployment, Active Directory, and backup tools.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V  virtualization platforms.
  • Proficiency in managing storage systems (NAS, SAN, DAS) and configuring server hardware.

·       Backup Management:

  • Strong understanding of backup solutions and strategies.
  • Experience with implementing and monitoring backup systems for critical data integrity.

·       Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to handle complex projects.
