Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Credentialing Specialist to join our team on the night shift, working from 9pm to 6am. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in credentialing processes, specifically tailored to our US clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Conduct thorough credentialing verifications, including education, training, licensing, and certifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, internal stakeholders, and external entities to resolve credentialing issues.
Prepare and submit credentialing applications and reappointments to insurance companies, government agencies, and healthcare facilities.
Monitor and track credentialing expirations and renewals to ensure continuous compliance.
Collaborate with the compliance team to conduct audits and ensure adherence to credentialing requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist, preferably with US clientele.
Strong understanding of credentialing processes, regulations, and standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using credentialing software and databases.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Medical Staff Services Management (CMSSM) or Certified
Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
Experience working night shifts or in a 24/7 operational environment.
