Role Description:


This is a full-time on-site Social Media Manager role located in Karnataka, India. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with social media marketing and communication. The role involves creating, managing, scheduling, and monitoring various social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, , and YouTube. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive audience engagement on social media platforms, increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our website.


Qualifications

  • Solid experience in Social Media Marketing and Communication
  • Excellent skills in Content Strategy and Writing
  • Ability to create engaging social media content
  • Experience in Social Media Optimization (SMO) and analytics tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies
  • Familiarity with popular social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, , and YouTube
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or related field
  • Experience in the organic and natural products retail industry is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Community Manager Responsibilities


  • Social Media Management: Manage and curate content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, ) to maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence. Develop and implement content calendars, ensuring a variety of content types (text, images, videos) to captivate the audience.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and in a personable manner. Foster a sense of community by initiating and participating in conversations, polls, and discussions related to our brand, products, and industry.
  • Follower Growth: Develop and execute strategies to attract new followers, leveraging both organic methods and paid advertising. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to create compelling and shareable content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Conversion Strategy: Identify opportunities to convert social media interactions into actionable outcomes, such as website visits, email sign-ups, product purchases, or other desired actions. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align social media efforts with broader business goals.
  • Data Analysis: Regularly track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, click-through rates) to gain insights into the effectiveness of different strategies and content types. Use data to refine approaches and develop data-driven recommendations for optimizing social media efforts.
  • Ad Campaign Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to design, implement, and monitor social media ad campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. Monitor and adjust campaigns as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with the brand's voice and values. This includes images, graphics, videos, and written content that resonate with the target audience.
  • Crisis Management: Address and manage any negative comments, reviews, or situations in a professional and timely manner. Escalate sensitive issues to appropriate internal stakeholders while maintaining a positive online brand image.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media management, community engagement, and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing social media trends.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and experience in managing ad campaigns is a plus.
