About the Role:


As the Manager - Public Relations and Internal Communication, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to effectively manage the organization's public image and ensure clear and consistent messaging internally.


Job Role & Responsibilities :


1.External Communication:


  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage.
  • Write press releases, pitches, and other materials to disseminate news and information about the organization.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media channels to assess public sentiment and identify opportunities and risks.


2.Internal Communication:


  • Design and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote a culture of transparency and alignment.
  • Develop content for internal newsletters, emails, and intranet platforms to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate company-wide meetings, town halls, and other events to foster open communication and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and executives to cascade information effectively throughout the organization.


3.Crisis Communication:


  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and point of contact for media inquiries during crisis situations.
  • Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to ensure a timely and coordinated response to emergencies or reputational threats.
  • Provide media training and guidance to key stakeholders to prepare them for effective communication in high-pressure situations.


4.Content Creation:


  • Create compelling written and visual content for various communication channels, including press releases, blog posts, social media posts, and internal presentations.
  • Ensure all communication materials adhere to brand guidelines and reflect the organization's values and messaging.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5+ Years in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop creative communication strategies.
  • Experience managing crisis communication and handling sensitive issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and media monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in public relations and internal communication.
