Zupee - Senior Database Engineer - MySQL/MongoDB

Job Description :

- Design, implement and upgrade to cost-effective fault-tolerant architecture

- Manage databases in cloud environments such as Amazon

- Resolving alerts and production issues

- Troubleshoot and support existing database processes; deliver fixes and optimizations where appropriate.

- Support software projects involving the database infrastructure and data migration

- Developing automation procedures and applications.

Must -have skills :

- 5-8+ years of experience in information technology.

- At least 5 years of experience working as MongoDB, Mysql DBA in a fast-paced, rapid-growth and intensive environment

- 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments especially AWS managed services and tools.

- Some experience with other NoSQL technologies like Redis, Kafka

- Experience with database performance tuning.

Desired skills :

- Good programming skills (Bash, Python)

- Experience with Git

- Experience with infrastructure coding tools (preferably Terraform, grafana)

- Experience working with Linux OS
