You will help to leverage this initial success and drive the growth of the Technology Solutions vertical as a key growth engine for the company.
We are seeking statisticians with a strong background in R programming and a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics or Biostatistics (M.Sc. Statistics or M.A. Statistics). The successful candidates will collaborate closely with researchers and data scientists, employing R functions to conduct statistical analyses, code statistical methods for descriptive statistics, KM curves, and visualization plots, and deliver results for various analyses within the healthcare and life sciences domain.
Responsibilities:
1. Must possess 6 to 10 years of overall experience in statistical analysis projects, preferred with claims database analyses using the R programming language.2. Experience in writing optimized R code for memory management, storage, etc., as well as in conducting various data analyses using R, including statistical parametric and non-parametric analysis, and utilizing data visualization packages.3. Ability to write SQL queries is essential.4. Experience in conducting statistical inferential analysis, multivariate analysis, time series, descriptive statistics, KM curves, and visualizations.5. Strong ability to perform quality control checks on work before delivering it to clients.6. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.7. Ability to communicate findings from analytic testing to stakeholders and the research team in a comprehensive, standardized format that details the methods, analyses, conclusions, and recommended next steps.
Primary Skills Required:
R programming, SQL queries, statistical inferential analysis, multivariate analysis, time series, descriptive statistics, KM curves, visualizations, and SQL.
Desirable Skills:
Basic understanding of Docker for building images and deployment, Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Knowledge in customizing and developing R packages, Familiarity with Shiny: RStudio, Experience in building Cost of Illness/Cost Effectiveness models.
RESTful APIs, RStudio, R Plumber.
Preferred Candidates:
Candidates should preferably come from the Real-World Evidence/Life Sciences department.
