Job Description

We are looking for passionate and motivated Academic Counsellors to guide students, parents, and educational clients in choosing the right learning solutions offered through GladOwl's partner institutions and services. The role involves counselling, lead conversion, relationship management, and academic advisory support.

Requirements
  • Counsel students and parents about courses, academic programs, and career pathways based on their needs.
  • Convert walk-ins, leads (via calls/emails/social media), and inquiries into successful enrollments.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of partner institutions, course offerings, and admission procedures.
  • Assist students with the application and admission process.
  • Build long-term relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly counselling and admission targets.
  • Record all counselling interactions and lead status in the CRM (Zoho/other tools).
  • Participate in education fairs, webinars, and promotional activities to engage with prospective students.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide inputs on student engagement campaigns.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related fields.

Experience:

1–4 years of experience in student counselling, academic advisory, inside sales, or education services.

Prior exposure to EdTech, Training Institutes, or Educational Consultancies preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to understand academic requirements and guide students effectively.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms, student lead management, and counselling tools.
  • Goal-oriented, with the ability to work under targets.
